Swing's Coffee Roasters

Swing’s Coffee Roasters is a Washington, D.C.–based coffee company founded in 1916, with over a century of roasting heritage. This project was completed in collaboration with Tekwani Design Co., with the goal of translating Swing’s newly updated packaging into a digital experience that felt modern and elevated while remaining rooted in legacy. The prompt was simple: make the website feel like the bags.

The result is a Shopify site that blends classic structure with contemporary edge, balancing tradition and forward momentum. I led the full website design and backend build from scratch, developing a scalable product architecture to support a large catalog spanning more than 15 roasts, gear, gift cards, and seasonal offerings. The final experience honors Swing’s history while positioning the brand confidently in today’s specialty coffee landscape.
